This site it was a steep slope covered with elms and sagebrush, blocking the view to the city and making it a very unusable backyard. Several terraces were created. The retaining wall and formal step and patio area serve as the central focus to the design. Steps leading to the lower lawn area and patio area are made from Bart’s Blue Ledgestone with pebbles inserted in between the stone to create a look found in France. Another focal point is the wall fountain, carved from stone in the south of France, this was ordered and shipped from France to be installed for this homeowner.
