Harvest Design is the landscape architectural consultant for the Supervalu (Albertsons Food Store) located at 16th and State in Boise, Idaho. This was Joe Albertson's 1st grocery store; opened in 1939. That was back when 75 cents would buy three pounds of tomatoes, a pound of coffee and a one-pound roast. For various reasons, the Owner has requested that a complete new planting scheme be developed with an associated sprinkler plan. We are striving for a more engaging, lower maintenance, waterwise landscape for this site.
