Harvest Design is a small energetic design firm specializing in Landscape Architecture and Graphic Communication. The principles of sustainable and environmentally sound design coupled with economic, scenic, cultural, and community values guide our design philosophy. Creating for the present and leaving to the future a legacy of greatly valued work is our overriding motivation. We are a firm that prides itself on its design process and our attention to detail from concept through construction. Our project experience includes: commercial and industrial sites, environmentally sensitive planned unit development commons areas, high-end residential, master plans, streetscapes, public spaces, urban designs, memorial gardens, neighborhood parks, college campus designs, and large water features that create focal points for whole communities as well as small and large civic plazas. Our expertise includes: creating marketing documents, site design, city and county approval documents, erosion and sediment control plans, hardscape contract documents, softscape contract documents, and construction administration. Depending on the type of project, we often serve in the role of landscape construction manager where we bring together a team of subcontractors to install the project we have designed. Firm History: Harvest Design was established by Paul W. Norberg, in 1991. In the 17 years, since its inception, Harvest Design has evolved along with the growth and economy of the Treasure Valley. We currently work on 80 to 100 projects each year. In addition to the projects locally, we have done approximately 15 to 20 out-of-state; primarily shopping centers. Some of the commercial projects have multiple phases and span over several years. We continue to enjoy working on residential projects, but typically do no more than 5 or 6 each year. Our residential projects range in construction budgets from $20,000 to over $1,300,000. |
